Rock Jaw Audio's Wired Earphones: The Alfa Genus V2.

Here at Rock Jaw Audio we have a concise yet varied line-up of earphones. With products like the T5 Ultra Connect, the Alfa Genus V2 and the T5 Ultra Connect we hit a number of different price points while offering excellent sound quality throughout our line-up. This week we are going to focus on perhaps our most well-known product, the Alfa Genus V2.

Designed to be an excellent all-rounder, the Alfa Genus V2 is a dynamic driver earphone that packs an 8mm driver into solid aluminium ear buds. With a 1.2m cable and an included microphone that works with iOS and Android devices, the Alfa Genus V2 sounds like most other earphones in the market. There are, however, several differences that help the Alfa Genus V2 stand above the rest at this price point. First, the Alfa Genus V2 features a number of different ear tip solutions, more than the usual three sizes of silicon ear tips, including memory foam and double-flange ear tips. These extra ear tips help to give customers a better fit and seal without having to purchase further ear tips.

The second, and more important addition to the Alfa Genus V2 is of course our trademark tuning filters. We explained what these all do in a separate blog post, but in terms of added value these tuning filters allow customers to tailor the sound to their liking. For those that listen to a lot of Rap and Hip-Hop they can add some more bass to the Alfa Genus V2 by swapping out their filters, and those that like Metal could add a little more treble with another filter.

With extra ear tips and tuning filters, the Alfa Genus V2 offers excellent value an great sound quality. With so few models out there offering similar features and performance for the same price, the Alfa Genus V2 is not only great value, but also one of the best sounding wired earphones on the market.

Subtle Yet Stylish, How Our Earphones Blend Your Style..

No two customers are the same, and that's no truer than in the personal audio market. Not everyone hears things the same as each other, which is why we offer our excellent tuning filters free of charge to ensure our earphones suit everyone. On top of that, we also make sure that products such as the T5 Ultra Connect and Alfa Genus V2 fit everyone by offering a wide range of ear tips free of charge. These ensure a comfortable fit and the right seal to help you get lost in your music.

These days, headphones and earphones have become a fashion accessory, and while it might be nice to blend in with the white ear buds everyone else seems to be using, we went a more classic, timeless approach. To keep offering such good value in our products, we decided to offer a product that would offer a good look for everyone. The gunmetal grey touches we use on the T5 Ultra Connect and our hit product the Alfa Genus V2 are classic, and should suit both ladies and gents, while at the same time not jumping out for attention as other options can do.

Something we pride ourselves here at Rock Jaw Audio is how easy to use our products are, and with our classic and timeless design that suits everyone, there's no need to worry about how they look, either. After all, the last thing you want to worry about is how good a great-sounding pair of earphones look when in use. Thankfully, with Rock Jaw, you don't have to worry about this.

Testing and Quality Control is Something We Take Extremely Serious!

At Rock Jaw Audio, we take pride in products like the T5 Ultra Connect and the Alfa Genus V2. We want to make sure that the product we put on shelves and send to customers is the best we can achieve. To do so, we take a long time to bring a new product to market, and any new product goes through a lengthy prototyping stage, as well as a comprehensive testing programme to make sure they meet our high standards.

The Rock Jaw Audio product line has always been known as being British Engineered, and we stand by that. Product development starts in the UK and products are only put into production once they get the go ahead in the UK. New products are developed for roughly 12 - 16 months, from sketches to CAD drawings all the way through to driver selection and beyond. We put our new products under the microscope during their development to ensure that all details are 100% before we go any further. During this 12 - 16 month period, they go into quality assurance around 9 months, and are tested for a further 3 - 5 months before we put them into production and then put them up for sale.

It's important to us to make sure that our customers get the Rock Jaw product we know we can deliver, and testing products rigorously is how we make sure things meet our extremely high earphone standards.
