ROCK JAW WARRANTY INFORMATION
This Limited Warranty applies to the ROCK JAW branded hardware products sold by or leased from JAW Global Trading Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates, authorized resellers, or country distributors (collectively referred to in this Limited Warranty as “Rock Jaw”) with this Limited Warranty (“Rock Jaw Product”).
These terms and conditions constitute the complete and exclusive warranty agreement between you and Rock Jaw regarding the Rock Jaw Product you have purchased or leased. These terms and conditions supersede any prior agreements or representations, including representations made in Rock Jaw sales literature or advice given to you by Rock Jaw or an agent or employee of Rock Jaw that may have been made in connection with your purchase or lease of the Rock Jaw Product. No change to the conditions of this Limited Warranty is valid unless it is made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Rock Jaw.
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AND TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ROCK JAW MAKES NO OTHER REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND NON-INTERFERENCE. ROCK JAW DOES NOT WARRANT THAT YOUR USE OF THE ROCK JAW PRODUCT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY LAW ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD, TO THE GREATEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. SOME STATES OR COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW A LIMITATION ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR CONSUMER PRODUCTS. IN SUCH STATES OR COUNTRIES, SOME EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
The warranty period for Rock Jaw Products is one (1) year from the date of product purchase. The Limited Warranty Period starts on the date of purchase or lease from Rock Jaw. Your dated sales or delivery receipt, showing the date of purchase or lease of the product, is your proof of the purchase or lease date. You may be required to provide proof of purchase or lease as a condition of receiving warranty service.
Rock Jaw warrants that the Rock Jaw Product and all the internal components of the product that you have purchased or leased from Rock Jaw are free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the Limited Warranty Period. You are entitled to warranty service according to the terms and conditions of this document if a repair to your Rock Jaw Product is required within the Limited Warranty Period. This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser or lessee of this Rock Jaw Product and is not transferable to anyone who obtains ownership or use of the Rock Jaw Product from the original purchaser or lessee.
Repair or Replacement
Rock Jaw products are manufactured using new materials. Spare parts may be new or equivalent to new. Spare parts are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for ninety (90) days or for the remainder of the Limited Warranty Period of the Rock Jaw Product in which they are installed, whichever is longer.
During the Limited Warranty Period, Rock Jaw will repair or replace the defective component parts or the Rock Jaw Product. All component parts or hardware products removed under this Limited Warranty become the property of Rock Jaw. The replacement part or product takes on either the Limited Warranty status of the removed part or product or the ninety (90) day limited warranty of the spare part. In the unlikely event that your Rock Jaw Product has a recurring failure, Rock Jaw, at its discretion, may elect to provide you with a replacement unit of Rock Jaw’s choosing that is at least equivalent to your Rock Jaw Product in hardware performance. Rock Jaw reserves the right to elect, at its sole discretion, to give you a refund of your purchase price or lease payments (less interest) instead of a replacement. THIS IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS. HOWEVER YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY.
This Limited Warranty does not extend to:
(a) Expendable parts;
(b) Ordinary wear and tear;
(c) Cosmetic damage;
(d) Damage or non-functionality that results from (i) failure to follow the instructions that came with the product; (ii) accident, misuse, abuse, or other external causes; (iii) operation outside the usage parameters stated in the then current user documentation for the product; or (iv) use of parts not manufactured or sold by Rock Jaw; or
(e) Damage or non-functionality due to modifications or service by anyone other than (i) Rock Jaw, (ii) a Rock Jaw authorized service provider, or (iii) your own installation of end-user replaceable Rock Jaw or Rock Jaw-approved parts.
Limitation of Liability
IF YOUR ROCK JAW PRODUCT FAILS TO WORK AS WARRANTED ABOVE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY SHALL BE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. ROCK JAW’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR RELATED IN ANY WAY TO THE ROCK JAW PRODUCT IS EXPRESSLY LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF THE PRICE YOU HAVE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT OR THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY HARDWARE COMPONENTS THAT MALFUNCTION IN CONDITIONS OF NORMAL USE.
ROCK JAW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE PRODUCT OR THE FAILURE OF THE PRODUCT TO PERFORM, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS OR SAVINGS OR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ROCK JAW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM MADE BY A THIRD PARTY OR MADE BY YOU FOR A THIRD PARTY.
THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY APPLIES WHETHER DAMAGES ARE SOUGHT, OR A CLAIM MADE, UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR AS A TORT CLAIM (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE AND STRICT PRODUCT LIABILITY), A CONTRACT CLAIM, OR ANY OTHER CLAIM. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY CANNOT BE WAIVED OR AMENDED BY ANY PERSON. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY WILL BE EFFECTIVE EVEN IF ROCK JAW KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGES. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, HOWEVER, WILL NOT APPLY TO CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. YOU ARE ADVISED TO CONSULT APPLICABLE STATE OR COUNTRY LAWS FOR A FULL DETERMINATION OF YOUR RIGHTS.
technical support is defined as assistance with questions and issues about the that was either preinstalled by Rock Jaw on the Rock Jaw Product or that was included with the Rock Jaw branded product at the time of your purchase or lease of the product. Technical support is available for the duration of your warranty period. Your dated sales or delivery receipt, showing the date of purchase or lease of the product, is your proof of the purchase or lease date. You may be required to provide proof of purchase or lease as a condition of receiving technical support.
Warranty Transfer to Another Country
Rock Jaw is not responsible for any handling fees, tariffs, or import duties that may be incurred in transferring the Products.
ROCK JAW DEAD ON ARRIVAL POLICY
Policy: Dead On Arrival (DOA) Product: Product Failure Out of the Box
Applicable To: Distributor, VAR (Value Added Reseller) or Original Purchaser of Rock Jaw
Policy Scope Effective immediately, Rock Jaw will use the following guidelines for DOA product reporting, verification and resolution.
This DOA policy applies to Rock Jaw products currently offered on www.rockjawaudio.com
As new products are offered, Rock Jaw reserves the right to determine whether or not this policy applies.
DOA decisions are at the sole discretion of Rock Jaw and shall be final.
This policy is subject to change with 30 days notice.
Definition “DOA” is defined as Dead on Arrival. If a Rock Jaw product shows symptoms of a hardware failure, preventing basic operation upon its first use out of the box, then it may be deemed DOA.
Reporting; Resolution If you purchased your product directly from Rock Jaw and believe it to be DOA, please contact Rock Jaw Technical Support within 5 business days of your receipt of the product. Rock Jaw Technical Support will process the request to get the product in house to determine whether the product is DOA and upon such determination offer you the following options:
Replacement: The same product that you ordered from Rock Jaw will be shipped to you at Rock Jaw’s expense. The replacement is limited to the original unit configuration as it shipped from Rock Jaw. Replacements are placed on Rock Jaw’s standard 14 business day lead time for build and delivery.
Service: You may have the product repaired; however, once serviced, the product is no longer eligible for DOA replacement.
If you purchased your product from a Rock Jaw authorized distributor or VAR and believe that it is DOA, please call your distributor or VAR within 5 business days of your receipt of the product. They will contact Rock Jaw Technical Support who will process the request to get the product in house to determine whether the product is DOA and upon such determination offer you one of the above replacement or repair options. Product must be deemed DOA by Rock Jaw within 8 business days of your receipt of the product in order to receive a replacement unit.
Other Terms and Conditions If the product is reported as DOA to Rock Jaw more than (i) 5 business days after you receive it or (ii) 45 days from the date Rock Jaw shipped the product, whichever is earlier, Rock Jaw standard product warranty shall apply. If the product is deemed by Rock Jaw NOT to be DOA, Rock Jaw standard product warranty will apply. Shipping will be arranged at Rock Jaw expense for all products determined by Rock Jaw to be DOA. Rock Jaw reserves the right to test the returned DOA product. You must provide a proof of purchase and return all consumables with the product. Note: If the condition of the product is misrepresented by the customer, Rock Jaw may impose up to a £49.00 handling fee and the product will be returned to you at your expense.
Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £25, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
